HOLMER Maschinenbau GmbH is introducing the new Terra Dos 5 High Performance, the world’s most powerful beet harvester. With this model, HOLMER continues to pursue its goal of reducing operating costs whilst steadily increasing throughput. A Caterpillar C18 engine delivers 579 kW/812 PS from a displacement of 18.1 litres.
The Terra Dos 5 High Performance delivers maximum performance under demanding conditions, whether harvesting on slopes, on heavy soils or when using multi-row harvesting units. The engine operates without AdBlue or a diesel particulate filter and, thanks to a diesel oxidation catalyst, requires virtually no complex exhaust after-treatment. This reduces technical complexity as well as maintenance and operating costs.
